England’s biggest festival of heritage and culture is gearing up for a spectacular double bill this year; for the first time Heritage Open Days will take place across two weekends, 6-9th and 13-16th September. This year’s theme is Extraordinary Women, focusing on stories and achievements by women that history has overlooked or forgotten.
