On 27 November the ceremony of the Historic England Angel Awards took place in the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London, thanks to the support of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation. The Awards “celebrate the heroic efforts of people across the country who have saved and enriched their local heritage” stated Michael Ellis, Minister for Arts, Heritage and Tourism.
Historic England awarded 6 projects for 6 categories, as well as an overall UK winner, for the very first time.
