The Parliamentary Under-Secretary for DCMS, Michael Ellis, responded to questions in the House last week concerning female representation stating that Historic England had been working to address this ‘through their Immortalised and HerStories seasons.’ In addition to this there has been a relisting of sites on the National Heritage List for England to acknowledge the role women have played.
