Historic Houses are looking for a bright, pro-active person with technical savvy and marketing nous to join their in-house marketing and development team and help maintain their current rapid rate of membership growth.

Essential skills and experience:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Highly literate with superb written and spoken communication skills
- Experience of creating and running marketing campaigns
- Experience of writing including websites, articles and blogs
- Experience managing and publishing on social media accounts
- Able to work quickly without compromising quality and accuracy
- Willingness, on occasion, to work irregular hours, attend evening/weekend events, etc.
Preferred:
- Experience or interest in heritage
- Experience or knowledge of membership schemes and member recruitment
- Experience of employment in a marketing role
- Experience of press or PR liaison
- Experience of using a website CMS to a high level
- Experience of the paid/corporate features of major social media platforms
- Knowledge of how best to use SEO when writing digital content
