The Heritage Lottery Fund [Alliance member] has released more information on its plans for the future, which Chief Executive Ros Kerslake outlined at Heritage Day in December.

The HLF is expected to begin consulting next week on how it should use National Lottery Good Causes income for the period from 2019 to 2024 and what its priorities should be across the UK. The consultation will be hosted on the HLF website.

2018 will be a transitional year for the HLF with a simpler funding programme. The changes for 2018 include no new rounds of targeted programmes such as townscape heritage and no new major grants over £5million in 2019. More information is here.
