Heritage Trust Network [Alliance member] has opened booking for their 2017 national conference, Inspiring Heritage for All, which is sponsored by the Architectural Heritage Fund [ Alliance member].
This year the conference is heading to Hull, this year’s City of Culture, on the 3rd and 4th October for a jam-packed programme of fantastic speakers, workshops, advisory sessions, and a walking tour of Hull’s old town in collaboration with the Yorkshire IHBC. The day before the conference, join Heritage Trust Network on a road trip in South Yorkshire, where they have arranged three fascinating and varied study visits along with coach transport to Hull.
The theme of day one is Inclusive heritage, welcoming diversity and will explore what diversity means for the built heritage sector. On day two, the theme is Place-led heritage schemes and the speakers will be talking about the variety of current place-led heritage schemes across the UK and their approaches to tackling economic decline and empowering communities.
