Salary: £24,573 – £26,642 + Benefits (6 Month FTC)

As Historic England’s new International Project Support Officer, you will be ensuring that all aspects of Historic England’s international work are effectively delivered and that links with DCMS, FCO, British Council and other relevant Government Departments and bodies are maintained and improved.

In this role, you will be managing specific projects related to the delivery of our Global Agenda. Preparing web material relating to our offer internationally and to a consistently high standard, you will also be disseminating material through new media, networks, contacts and other routes. You will be actively searching for and developing potential clients for the International Advisory Service, including initiating conversations with them and acting as an advocate for Historic England. You will also be taking responsibility for arranging International Advisory Service events, such as training programmes and international conferences.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of financial processes and working closely with senior managers. With event management experience, you also have proven IT skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with standard office procedures and excellent verbal and written communication skills, you are also used to working as part of a busy team, thinking on your feet, being adaptable, flexible and an excellent problem-solver.
