McConville Steps Down as CEO of The Greenwich Foundation

The Greenwich Foundation for the Old Royal Naval College [Alliance member] has announced that Angela McConville will be stepping down as Chief Executive.

Angela has been Chief Executive for nearly two years and oversaw the conservation of the Painted Hall and King William Undercroft, which have both been completed and have been re-opened to considerable acclaim.

Matthew Mees, currently Finance Director of the Greenwich Foundation, has been appointed Interim Chief Executive with effect from the 14th October until a permanent appointment is made.

In writing to the Foundation Angela said, “It has been a great privilege to lead the work of the Greenwich Foundation over the last two years and to have had the opportunity to work on such an incredible project as part of such a talented dedicated team. I’m now taking the opportunity to spend some quality time with my young family and I wish the Foundation every success in the future”.
