The National Trust has created two new part-time Internships to assist with sharing learning from various building projects across our properties. One Internship will focus on Play structures such as the new Ride café at Belton, whilst the other will focus on the re-use of rural buildings. The successful candidates will develop case studies on these two subject areas for others in the organisation to learn from. These roles will help us to share information more effectively internally, and make a real contribution to the work of the National Trust.
These Internships are part-time, 2-days a week based in Swindon. They would suit friendly, motivated people, with strong written communication skills, who are able to inspire and engage with a diverse range of people. They should be interested in buildings and be passionate about getting people involved with the natural environment and cultural heritage. Our Internships are voluntary, however out-of-pocket travel costs between home and volunteering place will be paid as well as lunch (note – all expenses are subject to an upper limit).

The deadline is 5 April 2017 with interviews the following week. The Internships will begin on 2 May and run for 6 months.
