The National Trust is recruiting for two volunteers within its Building & Landscape Design Team.

Design Guide Volunteer Placement (Spatial planning for historic properties)

This role is aimed at a motivated person who is interested in working within a large, dynamic organisation which protects special places. The post-holder will write case studies on spatial planning projects at National Trust properties to identify what has worked, what hasn’t and why.

Design Guide Volunteer Placement (Thatch)

Both placements will last for 6 months, commencing on Wednesday 24th April and be based in the Central Office for the National Trust at Heelis in Swindon. The hours are two days a week (15 hours) with at least one of those days in the Swindon office.
