Peter Ainsworth, Chairman of The Churches Conservation Trust [Alliance member] (CCT) has announced the appointment of Peter Aiers as the new Chief Executive of the CCT.
Peter joined the Trust in 2007, initially as Major Projects Manager. He led and built the award winning regeneration team for five years finding sustainable solutions to the challenging urban churches within our collection, while championing community involvement in the care and maintenance of historic churches. He became director of the southeast region in 2012 and added leadership of the north region in 2016. Since 2014, he has been developing CCT’s popular Champing™ initiative.
