The European Federation of Associations of Industrial and Technical Heritage (EFAITH) have announced that, as part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, it is establishing a new web-database for historic harbour cranes in Europe. It aims to develop a list of cranes used at maritime as well as inland harbours and on canals and river banks.
