ORNC: Heritage Regeneration and Property Development Trustee

Editor News

The Old Royal Naval College is Sir Christopher Wren’s riverside masterpiece: a famous British landmark which encompasses some of the finest buildings in the world. Sitting by the Thames, in the heart of Greenwich it forms part of ‘Maritime Greenwich’, a World Heritage Site (WHS), and its spectacular Baroque architecture and interiors draw visitors from across the world.

We are currently looking to appoint a new trustee to join the Board, with lead responsibility for heritage regeneration and property development. This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining the charity. The major Painted Hall restoration project will conclude late 2018 and will be revealed to the public, along with the transformed King William Undercroft, in early 2019. Our expectations are high, aiming to attract more than 0.5m visitors each year to the Painted Hall alone.
