The Heritage Alliance’s Chairman, Loyd Grossman, has written to Professor Dieter Helm, chair of the Natural Capital Committee (NCC), to share our paper on protecting the rural historic environment during and after Brexit.
The NCC is due to report to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Michael Gove, to inform DEFRA’s 25 year environment plan. The Heritage Alliance will also be meeting with Michael Gove next month to discuss how rural heritage can be better protected as part of the Brexit negotiations.
