Littering guidance updated to deal with litter from businesses

DEFRA’s guidance on council responsibilities on litter and refuse has been updated with a section on ‘dealing with litter from businesses’ to explain Community Protection Notices and what councils must do with existing street litter control notices. Litter can affect the setting of historic buildings.
