Project Manager: PCC for Newport Minster, Isle of Wight

Following the award of an HLF Your Heritage grant for Development Funding, the PCC for Newport Minster is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Development Phase through to Second Round application.  This includes procuring consultants, reporting to funders, managing all aspects of the project, confirming partnership working arrangements with key partners on the Island and undertaking the capital fundraising for the project.   The project aims to revitalise Newport Minster, providing new facilities to make it fit for purpose for the 21st Century and develop a vibrant Activity Plan to ensure those in greatest need on the Island are supported.

The post will be on a self-employed basis for approximately 18 months and will report directly to the Project Board, working closely with the vicar Kevin Arkell. The time commitment is estimated to be approximately 4-5 days per month. As the post is grant funded, the appointment is by competitive tender.
