The Professional Services Team provides specialist support to all Estates Teams to develop standards and to ensure quality outcomes for the routine maintenance, repair and conservation work and for the investment projects undertaken.
We are looking for an Experienced Chartered Engineer with current knowledge of legislation relating to building services with the ability and passion to champion and promote English Heritage’s sustainable environmental policies. You will have the experience to provide support and guidance in the challenges of designing and installing building services in historic buildings. This role is based in Swindon but will require frequent travel to various sites.
You will need to hit the ground running and relish the opportunity to drive this new role forward and make a positive difference.
Your natural leadership and proven team management skills will be easily recognisable. A confident communicator is a must for this post.
Project Management skills are essential and this, coupled with your excellent technical knowledge of the Building Services Sector, will be the key to your success. Current and working knowledge of the relevant health & safety legislation and other statutory requirements will also be needed.
You will enjoy working in collaboration with others and enjoy coming up with innovative solutions to building services challenges.
