The Surrey Heritage Awards Ceremony 2019 will take place at West Horsley Place on Wednesday 27th March. The biennial Awards, organised by Surrey Historic Buildings Trust, recognise ‘Best Practice’ in historic building conservation in Surrey.

Among the heritage properties in the running for the top trophy are timber-framed buildings over five hundred years old – including Manor Cottage in Shere, Sunt Farmhouse in Oxted, Yew Tree Cottage in Dockenfield and the Lythe Hill Hotel in Chiddingfold – and an unusual seventeenth-century granary at Parklands Farm in Ockley and the eighteenth-century gates of Oatlands Park, Weybridge.

The complete shortlist with details of the conservation projects will be published on the Surrey Historic Buildings Trust website on 1st March.
