The Churches Conservation Trust is the national heritage charity protecting and opening 350 beautiful historic churches to the public across England, attracting two million visitors each year.
At the heart of local communities, our buildings are part of the nation’s spiritual, architectural and social heritage. We contribute to urban and rural regeneration, the tourism industry, and we work with a wide range of partners and local groups to enhance the wellbeing of all.
The Board is seeking to appoint a successor to Crispin Truman OBE as Chief Executive, to lead our creative and passionate team of 70 staff and 2,000 volunteers working in conservation, volunteering and a wide range of innovative projects. The right person will demonstrate energy, enthusiasm, commercial acumen and empathy with our purpose and objectives.
Based in London, you will engage at the highest level within national and local Government, the Church of England and the heritage, regeneration and tourism sectors.
