The Gardens Trust is the sole UK national charity dedicated to protecting and conserving the heritage of designed landscapes. The County Garden Trusts (CGTs) are locally-based charities across England, who operate independently but are linked through the Gardens Trust. They are responsible for caring for designed landscapes.
This role involved helping to create networks, design and deliver training, raise awareness, and grow skills and sustainability. In any given week, this might entail organising venues, liasing with CGT volunteers, drafting guidance materials. running social media, curating the online Resource Hub, collating questionnaire results, nurturing the online discussion forum or delivering training workshops and meetings.
