GEM is looking for someone with financial qualifications and expertise in financial matters, particularly in relation to non-profit or charitable organisations. Responsibilities include:
• Providing advice to the board of Trustees on financial matters and assisting the board to fulfil responsibilities for the financial governance and direction of the organisation.
• Work in partnership with the Director and Finance Manager to ensure the production of financial documents.
• Liaise with the Director and Finance Manager on all financial matters.
• To be one of the authorised bank signatories and where necessary, authorise payments according to finance procedures.
