Editor News

Deadline for receipt of complete applications: 7 April 2019
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview.

Through a generous gift made by the Trustees of the Ashdon Village Museum the Department of Archaeology will offer a scholarship to be taken up by a student on the MPhil in Heritage Studies starting in October 2019. The recipient of the bursary will be known as the ‘Ashdon Village Museum Scholar’.

Funding will cover the full cost of tuition fees at the Home/EU rate, provide a generous maintenance grant and support the student in their research expenses. As part of their course of study for the MPhil in Heritage Studies the recipient will undertake a project focussed on how the history of the people of Ashdown is told and the public engage with that history.
